INCIDENTS

1/21 0900 LARCENY/FRAUD HIGHLANDS BIO STATION REPORT
                Officers notified the State Bureau of Investigation of a report of
                larceny/fraud involving state funds at the Highlands Biological Station.
                The investigation will be conducted by the Highlands Police De-
                partment.

        1100 ASSIST LEA REID ARREST
                Officers took a male student into custody outside Reid Gym for
                agents of the NC Alcohol Law Enforcement agency on charges of
                providing alcohol to underaged persons in Iredell County.

        1635 VANDALISM WALKER A LOT REPORT
                A student reported that someone had egged her car while it was
                parked in the Walker A lot.

        1800 FOUND WALLET LEATHERWOOD RETURNED
                Officers returned a lost wallet to its owner.

        1933 REVOKED LICENSE CENTENNIAL DR CITATION
                Officers cited a female non-student for driving with a revoked license
                and no insurance.

                LOST BRIEFCASE MCKEE REPORT
                A visitor reported that he had lost a brown leather briefcase in the
                area of McKee.

1/22 0114 ALARM REID NO FIRE
                Caused by a ground fault.

        0122 ASSIST LEA CENTRAL DR ASSIST
                Officers assisted deputies at a party on Central Drive while
                deputies cleared a large crowd from the area.

        0123 ALARM BENTON REPORT
                Someone activated a pull station. No fire.

        0149 ALARM LEATHERWOOD NO FIRE
                Activation caused when someone tore a detector head from the
                ceiling of the 3rd floor east wing.

        0228 ALCOHOL VIOLATIONS CAMPUS ARREST
                Officers cited a male student for underaged possession of alcohol
                and having an open container of beer in a vehicle.

        0320 DWI CAMPUS ARREST
                Officers arrested a male student for DWI. Intoxilyzer results were
                .18%.

        0754 ELEVATOR HARRILL REPORT
                Officers notified Facilities Management that the elevator at Harrill
                was out of order.

        1240 LOST CAT CARD ALBRIGHT REPORT
                Officers assisted a student in canceling a Cat Card that had been
                lost.

        2228 ALCOHOL OVERDOSE SCOTT REPORT
                Officers assisted WCU EMS at Scott Hall where a student had
                overdosed on alcohol. The student was transported to Harris
                Regional for treatment and later released. Referred to Judicial
                Affairs.

        2303 ASSIST RA LEATHERWOOD ASSIST
                Residential Living staff requested assistance in identifying students
                who had caused a problem in Leatherwood. When officers arrived,
                the students were being more cooperative than they had at first.

        2311 ALARM 700 VILLAGE NO FIRE
                The cause is unknown.

        2348 LARCENY JOYNER PLAZA INVESTIGATION
                A student reported that he saw a male steal a sign from Joyner
                Plaza. Officers located the suspect vehicle at the Summit and
                identified the owner of the car. The investigation is continuing.
                
1/23 0318 ASSIST EMS REYNOLDS ASSIST
                Officers assisted WCU EMS at Reynolds while they were on a
                call.

        0401 ASSIST LEA CATAMOUNT PEAKS ASSIST
                Officers assisted deputies on a call of gunshots fired. The suspect,
                a male student, was arrested for trespassing since he had been
                banned from the property.

        0814 ALARM KILLIAN NO FIRE
                Caused by system trouble.

        1250 LOST CAT CARD SCOTT REPORT
                Officers assisted a student in canceling a Cat Card that had been
                lost.

        1830 HARASSING PHONE CALLS HELDER HALL REPORT
                A student reported that she believed that she may have been drugged
                while visiting a local restaurant and that the suspect has continued to
                call her after she asked him to stop. She was referred to the Sylva
                Police with her report on the incident at the restaurant. The investiga-
                tion is continuing.
