Report

            A WCU officer presented the "Campus Public Safety Response
to

            Weapons of Mass Destruction" training program to Macon
County School Personnel.

1055 Accident Central Drive
Report

            Officers investigated a minor traffic accident. No
injuries.

 

1155 Disorderly Conduct Killian Annex
Further Investigation

            Officers were called to Killian Annex where there had been
an incident

            involving a disorderly student. Referred to Judicial
Affairs.

 

1441 Alarm Central Dr. Hall
Report

            Officers responded to an alarm caused by overcooking popcorn

            in a microwave oven.

 

1530 Accident Buzzard Roost
Report

            Officers investigated a minor traffic accident. No
injuries.

 

1705 Banned Student Helder Hall
Report

            An RD banned a student from Helder Hall.

 

2000 Vandalism Reid Gym
Further Investigation

            Officers investigated a report of a broken glass panel in
Reid Gym.

 

2015 Animal Call Baseball Lot
Report

            Officers picked up a golden retriever and took it to the
animal shelter

            for safekeeping. The dog was following vehicles and was in
danger of being

            struck. The dog had a collar but no tag.

 

2051 Drug Violations Walker Hall
Referred

            A male student was referred to Judicial Affairs for simple
possession of

            marijuana.

 

2130 Loose Snake Harrill Hall
Report

            Officers responded to a report of a snake outside a room in
Harrill Hall.

            The non-poisonous snake belongs to a student and had gotten
loose.

            The snake was captured by the owner's roommate who put a
bowl

            over the snake until officers arrived. The snake was
returned to its

            container and the owner was told he could not have the snake
as it

            is against housing rules. Referred to residential living.

 

            District Court Plea
Report

            A student pled guilty to drug charges stemming from an
incident

            At the WCU-ASU football game.

 

            District Court Plea
Report

            A female student pled guilty to misdemeanor drug violations.
She

            was fined $50 plus costs and placed on unsupervised
probation.

 

            District Court Plea
Report

            A male student pled guilty to underage possession of alcohol
in

            a case made by ALE agents at a football game.

0145 Drug Violations Leatherwood Hall
Arrest

            A male student was arrested on two misdemeanor drug
violations

            and a felony charge of cocaine possession. Bond was set at
$2,000

            secured.
