A Staunton, (Va.) paper of June 5th, says-Myriad of Locusts now swarm through the neighborhood. The woods resound with their doleful cry. We were induced, a few days ago, to attempt a count of the number that had risen in a small space round a tree, from the quantity of their cauls we saw- but had to give it up. It would have been a task for the crab-computing powers of a Lewenhoech.
