Dowling has produced her own work throughout the U.S. while performing and/or teaching in Boston, San Francisco, Chicago, Asheville, and, most recently, Cullowhee. She served as artist-in-residence for several programs in the Chicago area including New Trier High School and the Chicago Arts Partnership in Education.
Dowling's choreographic credits include Chicago’s Next Dance Festival, Asheville’s Fall into Dance, Winifred Haun and Dancers of Chicago, and Asheville’s ADDance. Additionally, she choreographed You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; The World Goes Round; and Side by Side by Sondheim for WCU’s Musical Theatre Program, along with Cabaret for the professional theatre troupe Western North Carolina Stage Company.
Dowling's performance credits include The California Contemporary Dancers (San Francisco), Winifred Haun and Dancers, the Chicago Moving Company, and ADDance, along with a wide array of work with independent artists and her own creative pursuits.
