Biography
Bonnie Rossa performed and taught in South Florida until moving to Waynesville, North Carolina in 2012. Ms. Rossa taught music education courses and applied flute at Florida Atlantic University, Nova University and in the public schools of Palm Beach County, Florida. Ms. Rossa served as clinician at both Florida State Music Education Conventions and Palm Beach County workshops.

Ms. Rossa received her bachelor's degree in classical flute performance from Florida State University, as well as bachelor's degree in music education. She earned her master's degree in teaching from Florida Atlantic University, and then in 2005 her National Boards Certification. Ms. Rossa has performed jazz and classical music in many venues in South Florida and North Carolina and has recorded a CD of original jazz music. Additionally, for several years Bonnie Rossa performed at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, Florida and, in 2002, at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Ms. Rossa co-authored and published four jazz education books for elementary to high school students: "The History of Jazz", "Jazz Cats Recorder", "Blues Cats Recorder", and "Jammin' With The Jazz Cats". "The Jazz Cats" series is published by Themes and Variations and distributed world-wide. Ms. Rossa is presently teaching music appreciation at Western Carolina University and Southwestern Community College.
