Perkins Receives Distinguished Service Award

Dr. Bob Perkins, an assistant professor in the School of Teaching and Learning, has been awarded the 2021 Distinguished Service Award by the Eastern Educational Research Association (EERA). Before joining WCU, Dr. Perkins
was a long-time faculty member at the College of Charleston. When notified of his award he said, "I always enjoyed EERA and all the people met there since my first meeting in Savannah in 1988. It is a great group and I have a lot
of great friends as a result. I enjoyed mentoring the new group of students each year and seeing their bright new ideas."
