Congratulations to CEAP Inclusive Education graduate, Ashlee O’Dwyer, who is one of only 17 finalists for the NC Beginning Teacher of the Year!

"Ashlee is the type of person who lights up a room with her laugh and her presence. She always brought joy and intelligence into the WCU classroom, and there is no doubt she does just the same as a teacher in her own classroom. I am so excited to see her be honored for the work that she does.” – Kelly Tracy, Associate Professor, School of Teaching and Learning

We look forward to the recognition ceremony and celebration of outstanding performance by these new teachers on February 17th. The NC BTOY recognition is sponsored by the NC Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT).
