Dr. Centeno-Pulido teaches Spanish Phonology and Phonetics (SPAN 461), Spanish Morphology and Syntax (SPAN 461), and Contrastive Features of English and Spanish (SPAN 401), as well as language classes in the 100-200 levels. 

His research interests have shifted from Linguistics to Cultural Studies, especifically Comics, Music, and TV shows. He has presented several analyses of the Colombian version of the TV hit series Breaking Bad, called Metástasis. He is currently working on articles dealing with the concept of Cultural Memory in Argentinian and Chilean comics.
