Spanish Club Logo and Inaugural Event

The Spanish Club is already making noise! Apart from the tertulias at Hillside Grind (click here for February's schedule), they are hosting their inaugural event this Thursday, February 21st at 5 pm in Balsam Hall (Common Room 305). They will be making tacos and sopafrías, and there will be some Spanish language entertainment.

If you plan on coming, please email the club President, Megan Rathbone, or the Vice President, Courtney Pulliam, to RSVP.

Also, the club has a logo! It features a cute little gato montés (Spanish for Catamount) made to look like the most Spanish letter of all, the ñ, according to Skyler and McKenzie Lucas, the students who came up with the design.

We thank Skyler and McKenzie for their contribution to the club.

One last thing, the officials of the club tell us that they are still in need of a treasurer. If you are interested in serving, contact the President, Vice President, or Dr. Alberto Centeno-Pulido.
