Tell us a meaningful Spanish-related story.

I got the chance to study abroad in Costa Rica for the spring semester of 2018. Being able to live in another country and learn the Spanish language has changed my life. I met so many amazing people, including my host family, and continue to keep in contact with them. Studying abroad has been the best thing I've done here at Western!

Any advice for students learning Spanish now?

Expand your vocab each day! I keep SpanishDictionary on my phone and use it all the time. It's extremely helpful when you don't know a certain word or phrase.
