Spanish and Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Where do you call home?

Randleman, NC

What are your plans after graduation?

I will be going to grad school next fall to pursue a clinical doctorate in Audiology. I also hope to complete some kind of graduate certificate in the Spanish discipline as well.

Tell us a meaningful Spanish-related story.

Over the summer, I went on the faculty-led study abroad trip to Valencia, Spain. While I was there, I was able to immerse myself in the language. I have continued to keep in touch with my host family and have enjoyed the bond that we share.

Any advice for students learning Spanish right now?

Just get out there and practice the language. It’s supposed to be fun, and you can make mistakes, but that’s how you learn. Just do it!
