Nomad

Since 1963, the Nomad has been a part of the student media at Western Carolina University and has provided undergraduate students with a place to showcase their talent as writers and artists. The Nomad is student-led, allowing undergraduates the opportunity to gain publishing, editing, and design experience by producing an annual printed magazine. The Nomad also works closely with the English department's annual WCU Spring Literary Festival, judging submissions for the Creative Writing Contest. No previous experience is required to be a part of the Nomad, only an interest in writing, editing, and/or design. If you have any questions about submissions or membership, please contact Managing Editor Jackson Bedenbaugh.
