The students of the Senior Seminar in English are now accepting abstracts and submissions for their 2019 Plant Your Thoughts Conference, with a focus on the campus theme of Sustainability and Environment. The conference will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at Blue Ridge. Submissions should explore the topic(s) of sustainability and the environment from the viewpoint of all disciplines. We invite submissions of all academic papers, creative writing, and art that broadly reflect this theme from students at all stages of their academic careers. Abstracts of papers and presentations should be no more than 350 words. Works of art, poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction should be submitted in their entirety. Each presentation should be limited to fifteen minutes.

Abstracts Due: October 25th 2019
Abstracts and submissions must be emailed
to as a Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx file) attachment
by October 25, 2019 at 5 p.m.. Notifications to presenters will be made by October 31, 2019.
