Professor Dulworth is graduate of WCU's undergraduate social work program. She completed her MSW at the University of South Carolina with a focus in macro social work. She is currently a doctoral social work student at the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine's University in Minnesota. She mostly teaches in the undergraduate program in Policy, HBSE, Diversity and Children and Families courses. Her research interest are strategies to improve the scholarship of teaching and learning, smart decarceration and foster care/adoption. Professor Dulworth lives in Sylva, NC and is from Brevard, NC. She volunteers with Guardian ad Litem and is a foster parent. She enjoys traveling with students abroad each year. She also loves hiking, CrossFit and European history books and movies. She and her husband also can be seen all over campus cheering for WCU.
