Beth Nease is an assistant professor at WCU. Prior to coming to Western Carolina University, Beth served as an Administrative Director for Professional Practice within the Bon Secours Health System in Richmond Virginia. Beth was the Magnet Program Director for Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center successfully designated in 2008 and again in 2014.
Education: Beth received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Old Dominion University in 2017. Her undergraduate nursing degree was earned at Virginia Commonwealth University. Beth's clinical experience includes a background primarily in progressive care nursing units, including cardiac transplant.
Beth is currently a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the North Carolina Organization for Nurse Leaders, and Sigma Theta Tau International. Beth currently resides in Sylva, North Carolina.
