International Baccalaureate Exams

Students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program earn credit hours or advanced placement in college courses. Below is a guide to the IB exams that have been evaluated by academic departments at Western Carolina University. Duplicate credit will not be not awarded. The same policies and procedures used in evaluating the applicability of other transfer credits toward a degree will be applied. If the exam you took does not appear in the table, please contact the Registrar’s Office to have it reviewed.

If you did not designate Western Carolina University as a score recipient when you took the exams, you can order them from the International Baccalaureate Organization.
