Admission to the Honors College at WCU is a selective process. Applicants for WCU's freshman class may be invited to join the Honors College based on their high school academic performance. Upperclassman may also apply to join the Honors College if their academic record at WCU meets Honors College requirement.
Upon acceptance to the Honors College:
The Honors College offers scholarships, based on academic merit, to incoming first-year students. As funds allow, The Honors College also provides scholarships and one-time grants to continuing Honors students. In addition, the top one percent of applicants to WCU's freshman class are invited to apply and interview for the Honors College Scholars program, which provides full in-state tuition and an annual stipend.
