First Destination Survey

Western Carolina University provides the First Destination Survey to each graduating class. A graduating class consists of the Summer, Fall, and Spring graduates of the academic year. We administer the survey in the Fall semester, which means that the survey is distributed from 1 year+ (for summer grads) to 6 months (for May grads) after graduation. The results indicate students' primary status after graduation and where they were employed, top employers, and top schools of continuing education. Our dashboard is currently under construction and should be comleted by August. Discover Our Student Success

DegreePlus

DegreePlus is uniquely designed as a holistic approach that incorporates the entire campus, not just faculty and students. It is a call to action to help students find extracurricular experiences that enable them to develop the transferable skills they need to be successful beyond their years at Western Carolina University. After participating in a variety of these tangible, skill-building experiences, students will have the opportunity to reflect on the skills they’ve gained and how these relate to their academic experiences and their future goals. This data provides and overview of the involvement and impact WCU's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) DegreePlus has had on the learning environtment at WCU. EXPLORE OUR IMPACT
