Virtual Reality (VR) at Hunter Library

Oculus Rift is a virtual reality (VR) headset. Connected to a high-end PC, this headset will enable you to move around virtual space in real time. There are many different experiences to choose from and you can play any game or experience that we have purchased or acquired.

Hunter Library's VR workstations are each outfitted with an Oculus Rift headset, Oculus Touch controllers, and three positional sensors for a full 360-degree experience. The workstations are first come first served. Researchers and students working on class projects should contact our staff to reserve extended time. Click to reserve a VR station.

Hunter Library also has two Oculus Rifts available to borrow from the Circulation Desk. Each box contains the Oculus Rift headset, Oculus Touch controllers, and two positional sensors. Click for more information about borrowing vr equipment.
