We currently have two Macs available in the Scholar Studio.

Where are the editing stations?

The editing stations are located in the Scholar Studio on the Main floor of the library.

Who can use the editing stations?

They are available for use to members of the WCU community (students, faculty, and staff). Just log in with your WCU username and password.

What kind of software is available?

  • A variety of programs are installed, including:
  • Studio One 4
  • Audacity
  • Final Cut Pro X (Mac only)
  • Logic Pro X (Mac only)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud programs, such as Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

If you need help, or would like to recommend a piece of software that we don’t have, please contact the Scholar Studio.

Do I need a reservation?

Nope! Like the other library computers, our editing stations are first come, first served.
I need to edit a project, but all the editing stations are occupied!
If all four editing stations are in use, you may want to try the computers available downstairs in the Tech Commons. They have several high-end workstations with many of the same programs installed.

Is there equipment I might want to use that isn’t at the editing stations?

We have a variety of computer accessories that you can check out, such as flash drives and external hard drives, a Wacom tablet, and studio monitoring headphones. Visit our Circulation page for a full list of the materials we offer for checkout. There is also a wide variety of equipment available for checkout at the Tech Commons.
