Biography

<b>Siham Lekchiri, Ph.D.</b><br>Siham Lekchiri, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor and Director of the MS program in Human Resources at Western Carolina University. She earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Management and a minor in HRD from Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (Morocco), and she has a M.S. in Human Resource Development from Indiana State University. She also completed her dissertation to earn her Ph.D. from Indiana State University Consortium in Technology Management with an emphasis on Human Resource Development and Industrial Training. Prior to starting in academia, Dr. Lekchiri was a Human Resources Consultant in Morocco; she has worked on numerous consulting projects in Morocco, Mali and Senegal.

Dr. Lekchiri's research interest is focused on the challenges faced by women in male-dominated industries, environments and cultures.
