I moved to WNC in 2004 after completing my MSN at Vanderbilt University and was board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I have served the communities of WNC as an FNP in rural emergency departments and urgent cares since 2005. I was afforded the opportunity to join the faculty at WCU in the fall of 2014 as an assistant professor and Program Director for the Post-Master's Doctor of Nursing Practice Program.
