Renee completed her BS, MS, and Dietetic Internship at the University of New Mexico upon returning to school after initially earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography. She has diverse work experience in food and nutrition, including positions in foodservice management and nutrition education. Her previous work experience includes tele-health outpatient nutrition counseling with the Veterans Health Administration, hands-on nutrition and cooking education with two SNAP-Ed programs, and K-12 school foodservice management. She has had many opportunities to mentor undergraduate students and dietetic interns. Renee previously served as the Public Policy Coordinator for the New Mexico Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
