Biography

Nancy Luke earned her Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Georgia. A former elementary classroom teacher, she taught in inner city public schools and overseas with the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS) in Germany before teaching at the college level first in Savannah, GA and now at WCU.

Teaching Interests

My teaching and research interests include the thoughtful use of technology to support instruction across the curriculum and digital storytelling and multimodal expression in children and adults. In addition to teaching, I am deeply committed to supervising and mentoring undergraduate interns which is an activity that continuously teaches me to be a better educator.
