Louis Petrus Krüger is currently an Associate Professor of Project Management at the Western Carolina University (WCU) in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Before this, he was a tenured, Full Professor of Production and Operations Management (POM) in the School of Public and Operations Management at the University of South Africa (Unisa). He took up this position in 2000 after having first served as an Associate Professor (1996 – 1999) and a Senior lecturer (1992 – 1995) Unisa.<br><br>Prof Krüger specialized in the business management disciplines of operations, project and quality management (OPQ-M) and was responsible for the development and presentation of blended on-line study material to undergraduate, honors, and certificate program students (short learning programs – SLPs). He was also involved with the postgraduate supervision of Master’s students in the above-mentioned fields. He conducts research and has published several articles in accredited journals, such as the South African Journal of Business Management and the South African Business Review, and the International Journal of Problems and Perspectives in Management.<br><br>Prof Krüger is a multiple graduate from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and holds the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying (BSc QS cum laude), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA). He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP® #207) with the Project Management Institute (PMI®ID 10907) in Pennsylvania, United States of America. He also holds several professional memberships in South Africa, among others, with the Chartered Institute of Business Management as a licentiate member (LCBIM) and the Southern Africa Institute for Management Scientists (SAIMS).
