Nathan Johnson is an Associate Professor of Management and the Director of Graduate Programs in Project Management at Western Carolina University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Business Administration from Washington State University, and MPA and BS from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is also a certified Project Management Professional. Before entering academia, he held positions as an active duty Medical Service Corps officer in the US Air Force, and contract auditor with the General Services Administration.
He currently teaches courses in Project Management, Business Management, and Computer Information Systems at the undergrad and graduate levels.
His research interests include project management (information systems, healthcare, and government), electronic/distance learning, healthcare administration, the consumerization of IT, and BYOD.
