Assistant Professor of Interior Design at Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, NC and a practicing interior designer. Her Master’s degree was awarded by the University of <br>Kentucky, and Bachelor’s from Miami University. Her early career was focused on resort and multi-family construction and has progressed into exploring ways in which designers can positively affect the Quality of Life for our elder population.
Teaching Interests include hand drafting, and upper level studios focusing on commercial design and residential design that pertains to diverse populations. As well, as Assessment within the arts.
Primary areas of research include acoustics as they relate to Quality of Life in Elder Care, and Formative and Summative Assessment within the arts with a focus on Interior Design.
