Dr. Jack holds degrees in both electrical and mechanical engineering. He currently serves as the Cass Balleneger Distinguished Professor in the School of Engineering + Technology.
Teaching interests include design, project management, system modeling and control, PLCs, industrial automation, robotics, electronics design, computer architectures, and mechatronics.
Topics include Industry 4.0, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence in robotics/controls, embedded systems, discrete event control, and internet-connected systems.
