Prawannarat Brewer (Cherry) received her doctorate from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2017. She was born and raised in Thailand, worked and studied in Australia, England, France, and finally settled down in the United States. She worked as a university lecturer and a program coordinator for the U.S. Department of State Global Sports Mentoring Program, whose objectives are to promote leadership, diversity, and inclusion in sports for women and people with disabilities.<br><br>Cherry has had many industrial experiences in hospitality management, especially event planning and restaurant service. Her recent research focuses on restaurant marketing through social media and inclusion and diversity in the tourism and hospitality industry.
