Teaching Interests

Teaching interests include film scoring, composition, orchestration, and music technology emphasizing music and audio in media. As an ensemble conductor I work with students in the Artist-In-Residence orchestra and a small commercial music vocal ensemble, the Catamount Singers.

Research Interests

Research interests focus on music in motion pictures, incidental music for stage drama, and underscore for broadcasts in the style of the golden age of radio. I have composed musical underscore and conducted orchestra for nine radio dramas, and a number of dramatic productions including "Almost Maine," "Intimate Apparel," and "Peter Pan."
