Research Interests

Dr. Broomell studies how infants and children control their words and actions and the development of the prefrontal cortex. She uses EEG and behavioral tasks to measure executive function and social cognition in both typically and atypically developing children.<br><br>Current lab studies include coding infant joint attention videos; executive function, EEG, and physical activity in a local preschool; and infant inhibitory control in high risk sample.
