Walker Residence Hall

Walker Hall is one of three nine-floor high-rise co-ed residence halls on campus. Students enjoy suite-style living, where four double rooms of the same gender share a large bathroom. Adjacent to Scott Hall, Walker is located near the main entrance to campus and Courtyard Dining Hall.

Large lobbies are located on the first and ninth floors each with a TV, tables, couches, and vending. There are common study spaces on each floor with community kitchens throughout. Walker is completely alcohol free and also home to Western Carolina PEAKS, our residential first-year experience for Freshman. This living-learning community provides new students with a strong foundation for their academic career and transition to life at WCU.

Each double room features two loftable extra-long twin beds, two moveable dressers, two movable desks and chairs, along with high-speed internet, a cable TV jack and horizontal blinds.
