COVID-19 Quarantine & Isolation Guidance

WCU follows the CDC guidance for quarantine and isolation.

You should isolate or quarantine based on the following guidelines:

If you have symptoms:

  • You have not been tested: Call Health Services at 828-227-7640 or another medical provider to schedule a COVID test. You should isolate away from others until you receive test results.
  • Your test was negative and you did not have a known exposure: You are not required to isolate after receiving your test result.
  • Your test was negative and you have been exposed: Follow the CDC guidance related to quarantine after exposure.
