WOW! Is it already the first week of school? I know how difficult it can be to get organized, and keep up with personal long-term, and short-term goals. Good news! We, the Health & Wellness team, are happy to announce our launch of the app BetterYou at WCU. BetterYou can help you set goals and have the accountability you need to continue the progress we know you are capable of. You can also take part in challenges and win rewards! What do you need? 5 seconds, and your WCU student email!

I will be posting weekly blog posts that will cover everything wellness! Keep up with my blog for surprises to come. What do you want to hear about? Sleep hygiene? Healthy relationship tips and resources? Mindfulness? The list goes on and on! If you have any specific things you would like to learn about, feel free to contact me, Katherine Spalding. I am here for you! Times are tough, but the Catamounts Care! Remember that taking care of you is even more critical right now; if you do not help you, who will? Well, I am here to remind you that you DO have resources regardless of what is going on in the world. Remember that our wellness team is doing their best to provide virtual resources for you! Campus Recreation & Wellness and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offer so many valuable online tools and resources. Don't forget, if you are not feeling your best, or you just need your normal wellness check-up, schedule an appointment with Health Services!
