Catamount Community Courses

students at wcu

Courses will be available for Spring Admission in November, Summer Admission in May, and Fall Admission in July.

Every new student is required to complete these courses, prior to the start of classes. These courses will educate you to make well-informed decisions about alcohol use, reducing unconscious bias and engaging with diversity, how to protect yourself online, how to respond when there is an activie shooter, and sexual assault awareness. Although these issues are of primary concern for college students, these courses are designed to assist our students into adulthood. Failure to complete these courses prior to the assigned deadline may result in a registration hold on a student's account.

In addition, please take a few minutes to watch a short video on what to do if there is an active shooter on campus, Run>Hide>Fight. Once you've watched the video, submit your information atttesting that you have completed the assignment.

For assistance with any of these courses please contact the Student Affairs Office.
