Homecoming is an annual week long series of events held on the beautiful main campus of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Events are held throughout campus all week long culminating with the Homecoming Football game and crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen.
From a carnival on the Central Plaza, the Homecoming Parade in Sylva and the football game at in E.J Whitmire Stadium, nothing says "fall" like homecoming in Cullowhee! Explore all the events for homecoming below:
Every year, WCU hosts an annual carnival to kick off the start of Homecoming.
This year, the carnival will takeover the central plaza and the UC lawn with more fun than before! And will be 2 days of fun! Students can choose to attend on Tuesday, Oct. 5 or Wednesday, Oct. 6.
WCU students are free with wristbands. Student can pick up their wristband at the UC Guest Services Desk! Wristbands can be picked up on the day of the carnival. Snack tickets will also be provided to students to get snacks at the carnival to enjoy!
Join your fellow Catamounts the Friday before Homecoming as we takeover Downtown Sylva to celebrate with the homecoming parade!
