Arrive on Sunday for the Following:

2:00-5:00 p.m. Check-in and Welcome Packet pickup, Blue Ridge Residence Hall Lobby
5:00-6:00 p.m. Instructional staff meeting.
5:30-7:00 p.m. Dinner in the University Dining Hall
7:00 p.m. Welcome and orientation for all participants in the Blue Ridge Conference Center. Enjoy a mini-concert by one of our instructional staff as well as meet your Morning Skills instructor before your class begins on Monday morning.

Typical Weekday Schedule:

7:00-8:15 a.m. Breakfast in university dining hall
8:15-11:00 a.m. Dulcimer skill courses
11:30-1:00 p.m. Lunch in university dining hall
1:00-2:30 p.m. Electives
3:00-3:45 p.m. Dulcimer Jam
4:00-5:00 p.m. Dulcimer Ensemble with special guest instructors (you may also shop or continue resting)
5:30-6:30 p.m. Dinner in the dining hall

Evening Activities: 7-9 p.m:

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday: Intimate Concerts by our instructional staff in the residence hall (you’ll be prompted about sign-up process at check-in on Sunday)
Thursday: Music Sharing Circle opportunity for all participants. This event has become the highlight of the week!  Performances should be dulcimer related (both solos and ensembles welcome; sign-up sheet in Dulcimer Emporium)

Friday Schedule:

7:00-8:15 a.m. Breakfast in the dining hall
8:15-10:00 a.m. Dulcimer skill courses
10:00-10:15 a.m. Break
10:30-11:00 p.m. Farewell Assembly in Blue Ridge Conference Center (including dulcimer raffle, meet the baby dulcimers, and participant superlative awards)
11:15-1:00 p.m. Final check-out – see you next year!
