Instructor: Lorinda Jones
In this class the participants will learn about past and present practices of music in healthcare, all the while discovering how each person can bring this compassion and companionship to others in a long-term facility or other isolated setting. Appropriate song choice, manner of presentation and ethics involved in volunteering will be addressed. Though this class does not earn a certification as a music therapist or music practitioner, it will provide a clearer understanding about these programs.
