Call for Proposals

The 2024 SEPoMLE Symposium Conference Committee invites proposal submissions from educators who are interested in sharing "works in progress" related to middle level education.

Theme: The Power and Importance of Collaboration
Concurrent Sessions on Friday, May 17, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET

Proposed presentations should be 15 minutes of information followed by questions to ponder, dialogue, and a focus on how we can support our students and faculty. Presenters should plan for up to 25 participants who attend the session. 

In particular, there is interest in presentations related to:

  • Recruitment & Retention of MLE Teacher Candidates
  • Small Enrollment Leading to Reduced Programs
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Certification Challenges, Obstacles & Opportunities
  • SEL of the professoriate

CLOSED - Deadline for Speaker Proposals: March 8th
