Each day, your child will explore the natural world through field trips and activities in and throughout nearby Western North Carolina. Participants will have the opportunity to visit parks such as the Highlands Biological Station, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Nantahala National Forest. Students will participate in various activities each day, including hiking, botanizing, bird watching, river snorkeling, observing and collecting salamanders and insects, etc.
Parents/guardians will need to pack lunch for their camper Tuesday-Thursday. Lunch on Monday will be at WCU's Courtyard Dining Hall. Pizza will be provided on Friday.
