We are honored to recognize the expanding circle of loyal friends, like you, who are passionate about Western Carolina University. Madison Society members are a distinguished part of the Western Carolina family whose leadership gifts demonstrate their ongoing commitment to Western Carolina. Members of the Madison Society help WCU fulfill our mission of teaching, learning and service. Initiatives across the university — from scholarship support to the university's greatest needs — are greatly enhanced by the generosity of our Madison Society members.

Proud to be a Catamount. Those five words mean so much to thousands of Western Carolina University alumni and fans. Each time a student-athlete takes the field of competition wearing purple and gold, they feel the pride of those who came before them and those who support them in the stands. No state funds are received for scholarship aid for athletics. When alumni, friends, parents and businesses donate to the Catamount Club, those funds primarily are used to provide scholarship aid for approximately 250 student-athletes in 16 varsity programs.
