University Marketing manages the university-wide social channels and collaborates with content owners in Alumni Engagement, Athletics, Admissions and Student Affairs on channels specifically serving those areas. Connect with us:
In addition to managing the university channels, our office provides support to administrators in units across the institution assigned with managing unit-specific social outreach. For support, contact Rylee Roquemore, Social Media and Digital Content Strategist at email@example.com.
Units who are considering starting a new WCU-branded social media channel should begin by contacting Rylee Roquemore. She will work with you to understand the resources, time commitment, and scheduling processes and planning that should be in place prior to implementing a social media platform on behalf of WCU. Rylee will help you to assess which types of social media tools will work best to meet your goals and assist you through the process of establishing an officially recognized social media site. University Communications and Marketing's Social Media Strategist should be granted full access and credentials for any social media site posting on behalf of WCU; accounts will only be accessed in the case of a communications emergency. Social media accounts that are not logged with University Communications and Marketing should not be linked through the university website or promoted by departments.
WCU's Internal Communications Specialist, Shawna Young, oversees the university's email marketing platform. If you are looking to create professional, trackable emails to promote your events or communicate with stakeholders, we can help. Please fill out the request form below, and someone will contact you within the week:
