University Marketing provides creative and graphic design services upon request. Our unit includes two full-time art directors as well as a digital designer, all assigned to support the university's marketing needs. In addition, we train and employee student designers to help support our staff and yours. Most of our services are provided at no cost to the unit. Projects that support undergraduate or graduate admissions, academic program branding and marketing, fundraising and development, Chancellor-sponsored events, and core institutional business goals may be supported at no cost to the unit. University Marketing works with WCU leadership annually to set priorities for program-specific recruitment, and requests for support that are outside of those priorities may involve longer wait times.
University Marketing also offers fee-based design, web and social media services to units with projects that fall outside of the core mission of University Marketing as described in the section on no-cost services. Examples of initiatives outside of our mission include events not tied to recruitment or development and student service initiatives. An estimate will be provided at the outset of a project.

University Marketing also offers a self-service online portal for units looking to fill basic marketing collateral needs on a short timeframe. Through the portal, users can gain access to basic templates for brochures, fliers, posters and banners, fill in photos and text and submit the completed file to Marketing for approval.
This option is ideal for quick turnaround materials or for those units whose needs fall outside of our core mission but don't have budget available for auxiliary services.
