The office of University Marketing at WCU oversees all marketing and advertising strategy for the institution, develops and maintains the Western Carolina brand and messaging, manages WCU's university social media strategy, supports and maintains the wcu.edu website, and provides support to units across campus as they work to meet unit-specific marketing goals. University Marketing's primary mission is bolster institutional awareness and reputation in order to support student recruitment and stakeholder engagement.
Donna directs digital content development and management of social media platforms. She also works with the writing staff and the photo/video team to develop compelling content.
Stacy directs univeristy marketing design and branding, management of the university's paid media, and university special events.
Adrienne manages requests from campus units and works with clients to ensure they have the support they need from experts within University Marketing.
Ashley oversees the university's advertising plan and assists units with the development of media plans to support unit-specific goals.
John serves as lead designer for undergraduate and graduate student recruitment materials as well as print and digital advertising campaigns.
Will serves as lead designer for the Western Carolina University magazine and for materials to support university development and special events.
Rylee supports the university’s digital inititatives, directs and executes the planning and management of WCU’s social media platforms.
Shawna is responsible for communications aimed at engaging, and informing WCU's internal stakeholders.
Amelia oversees content, optimization and analytics on WCU.edu. She advises on content guidelines, user experience and information architecture.
Patrick manages the wcu.edu content management system and provides support and training to web administrators across campus.
Haley oversees the design of wcu.edu and supports the design and development of websites and digital tools to support marketing initiatives.
