The office of University Marketing at WCU oversees all marketing and advertising strategy for the institution, develops and maintains the Western Carolina brand and messaging, manages WCU's university social media strategy, supports and maintains the website, and provides support to units across campus as they work to meet unit-specific marketing goals. University Marketing's primary mission is bolster institutional awareness and reputation in order to support student recruitment and stakeholder engagement.

We support units through design and creative services, website support, social media strategy, trademarks and licensing approval, and media planning and buying.
