Inspired by Western Carolina University's 2018 Campus Theme, Defining America brings together artists with different perspectives on the concept of "America" and asks visitors to reflect on the values, definitions, and assumptions attached to this concept.

The exhibition will be on view throughout the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters at Western Carolina University, beginning September 11, 2018 and closing May 3, 2019. Please join us for the exhibition's opening reception on Thursday, September 20 from 5-7PM, featuring a gallery talk at 5:30PM, followed by refreshments.
