Program Description: The goals of the M.S Biology program are to teach students advanced topics and to provide them an experience in conducting original research. This instruction prepares students to work as professional biologists, or move on to doctoral programs.

    • GRE General Exam - combined score of 300
    • Candidates must hold an undergraduate major or minor in biology or other life sciences with appropriate supporting courses in other sciences
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 in junior-senior level courses in the major
    • Three letters of recommendation
    • A statement of research interest, including the names of two faculty whose research is of interest
