FIRST ASCENT (WCU's Freshmen Wilderness Orientation Program) was created to offer a unique outdoor adventure specifically for incoming freshmen. Participating in First Ascent is one of the best ways to start your college experience. First Ascent is designed to help high school graduates transition to college life. You'll make new friends, learn about yourself, WCU and have a blast!
