The meeting was called to order at 3:30 p.m.
Nancy Dillard distributed copies of the recommendation she wrote on behalf of the Council requesting assessment of the current university e-mail system.
After Tom Franke discusses the creation of an IT Advisory Council with the Chancellor's Executive Committee, Nancy Dillard will contact the members of the current Social Security Task Force to see if they would like to continue serving under the direction of the IT Advisory Council.
Debie Connelly is preparing a write-up on the UAC for the next issue of The Reporter.
Edna Waldrop will be attending the February Council meeting to make a presentation on Banner.
The Committee recommended inviting Joe Walker to the February Council meeting to give an update on campus construction projects.
Bob Orr suggested asking the Chancellor how the University Advisory Council can assist in creating an "engaged university."
Kathy Wong requested the role / purpose of the Leadership Committee be evaluated.
