JumpStart Computer Training (JS101) |

In the JumpStart computer training program, students learn all about basic computing concepts specific to WCU—such as accessing the University network, using campus email, web browsers, the University’s portal software, and finally, technology services and support available to students.
This course is offered online via our WebCT software, so that you can participate in the training from anywhere in the world that you can connect to the Internet.

| How to access the course |
JumpStart is being offered online via WCU's course management system WebCT. Students can access the JumpStart course in 2 ways outlined below:
1. Students can log into My Cat portal by entering their student ID # (92 #) and 6 digit pin, then click on the "My Courses" tab where a Channel (an index) of all WebCT classes are listed. Students must then click on their JumpStart course. |

| If you have problems - HELP IS AVAILABLE!!! |
| Students having problems or questions regarding their JumpStart course can find help located in any of the Student Computer Labs on campus. Lab employees should be able to help students with any questions they might have, including how to log in to the course, how to complete assignments, how to activate their e-mail account, etc. If you have questions, help is just around the corner! |
