CHAT ROOM
The Chat Room & Discussion
Board is accessible only to students enrolled in classes where
instructors have incorporated service learning. All students
in these classes, along with their instructors, are given
a username and password, and are able to log into the Chat
Room or leave messages on the Discussion Board.
Students are encouraged to reflect on their service learning
experiences through this medium. Instructors are urged to
request students to log into the Chat Room at specific times,
and to leave messages on the Discussion Board. Students may
visit the Chat Room whenever they choose.
Instructors can obtain a copy of Chat Room sessions and Discussion
Board responses from the Center for Service Learning. (gbowen@email.wcu.edu).
The system for usernames and passwords is as follows:
Username: University ID#
Password: MyCat PIN#
Note: If you still cannot log into
your WebCT course after following these instructions, don't
panic. It is possible that you were added to your course after
the initial roster was uploaded to WebCT. In such a case,
contact either your instructor or the email address below
with your name and the relevant course.
